Share events with access features

We encourage people who submit events to list the access features available to those who attend.

Now you can share events that have one or more access features.

This guide provides you with links that you can share with your community, and describes how you can construct your own URLs.

Links you can share

Events that offer Mobility access
A clear path of travel throughout the venue with an accessible toilet.
Events that support People who are blind or have low vision
Services or assistance for people who are blind or have low vision.
Events that offer National Relay Service
Allows Deaf people or people who are hard of hearing to place calls to standard telephone users via a keyboard or assistive device through the National Relay Service.
Events that offer Braille
Information offered through Braille.
Events that offer Audio description
An additional narration track accompanying media for users who are blind or have low vision.
Events that offer Sign language
Auslan interpretation is available.
Events that offer Hearing loop
A special type of sound system used by people with hearing aids.
Events that offer Closed captions
Text descriptions of the speech, music and sound effects of content playing.

Construct your own URLs

You can build your own links with multiple access features by using the filter.
Click on More and select the accessibility features. Click Apply.
You will be taken to a page that lists all events with that access feature. Copy and paste the URL from the address bar.
Here is an example of a URL for events that offer audio description and mobility access:
https://whatson.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/?accessibilities=audio-description,mobility-access
